How many times in amonth should we have the children's church. Is it effective?
We have been conducting Children's Church in our church for about 7 years now. We have it once a month, usually on the same sabbath of each month. It works very well for us and the kids really look forward to it. Since it is only once a month we are able to do more elaborate sets, activities, than we would if we did it more often. It really depends on what your resources are how often you should have Children's Church. Some are able to do this weekly during the regular service, that is great because it allows mom and dad to listen in their own service. Others do not have any because they lack staff. As the previous response reflects most churches have a Children's Church infrequently but this gives them ample opportunity to prepare a service the children will enjoy.
